Ahead of VE Day we did some home schooling about the day in history and learned lots about World War 2. I had 2 great grandpa’s who were in the war.
To commemorate and celebrate VE Day we made cookies, cake and cucumber sandwiches then we hung our bunting up at the summer house and at the driveway. We had a family tea party in the summer house and then had a picnic on the grass.
