Me and my family went to Dumfries and Galloway on holiday for a week. We stayed in an amazing holiday lodge at Coastal Kippford . The first night away we went to stay at Knockinaam Lodge for the night. We had the most amazing dinner and breakfast the next morning we went straight to our lodge about 3 hours away.
Once we got there we set up and put everything in there places we had a hot tub that unfortunately didn’t work but the lodge was lovely. After we set up we went for a walk along an amazing beach with only shells no sand sorry i have to skip to the best part which was on Friday. On Friday we first had breakfast and then set off to the longest zip line in Scotland at Laggan Outdoor which was 357 meters long and 93 meters above the ground.
After that we went to The Coco Bean Factory where we had to make the best chocolate in the world in my opinion.
Next day we went to The Cream of Galloway adventure park. It had such a fun drop slide and electric go carts that were my favourite bits we then had ice cream .
We went for an amazing walk at the Mull of Galloway lighthouse on a cliff edge we walked down to the air horn that they used to warn boats coming through the fog. you cant go inside anymore.
A great family holiday. We would recommend Dumfries and Galloway.
